This is my outfit for this year's Chinese New Years Festival in Richmond. Took me forever to decide what to wear and landed on this outfit which has sort of a beach/festival vibe to it. It was also really sunny so I didn't want to wear anything that would just boil me. Enjoy these posts as I don't know when I'll go out again. Another post coming up on the festival itself. x

Wearing: Deborah K top/dress, my mum's jeans which I made into shorts, vintage denim bag, Rubi sunglasses and white canvas shoes I've had forever.

new years eve

This was my new year's eve outfit for 2011. Was planning a girls' night out to watch the Melbourne  fireworks in the city but unfortunately I couldn't contact a few of my friends or they were already going with their families. I intended to wear the black sequined dress I posted earlier with these heels (shown above.) So instead I spent my day at a family friend's whose dad coincidentally was having his 51st birthday party. So my night consisted of loud asian karaoke, food, and hanging out with the little kids. When it was time for fireworks, I went outside with an iPhone trying to get a glimpse of the city fireworks but instead I was found lying in the grass with the kids watching house fireworks from nearby locals. That was definitely unplanned but a great and cute start to 2012. Hope you all had a good year in 2011 and all the best for 2012.X -C

My boxing day outfit for 2011. I was planning on going with my friends but unfortunately, I couldn't contact them or they were already busy so I went with my mum and younger sister. Things I bought will be up soon. X
